okay so what is the deal with this liking thing?

if i mark that i like something, can i come back to it later somewhere? kind of like bookmarking?

or is it just telling people “yo yo, i like what you did there”?

Also, when liking something, are you telling that person, ‘hey, I liked it, but not enough to reblog it’?

Yeah, I don’t really get it - honestly, no point to it at all.

I think it’s mostly a pat on the back—telling someone you like what they posted, but not cluttering your blog/dashboard with it.  Possibly a method of not having the same friggin’ post on my Dashboard 9843759208437908713249871623565x.

It does add a line in the “Notes” that says “so-and-so liked this”. At some point I imagine they’ll add a filter for “liked” posts.
